A UK based Multinational Firm, is looking for an Assistant Accountant. The successful candidate will support in the day to day accounts function, including assisting with financial accounts and bookkeeping operations. The Assistant Accountant will have excellent communication and analytical skills alongside maintaining confidentiality of the clients.

This Job role potentially involves “Work from Home” tasks of assisting our Accountants but would also need to visit our Karachi Office for training and Ad-Hoc Work. Working Hours will be from 10am to 6pm (UK Time).

Responsibilities:

- Assist in preparing Financial accounts under IFRS/UK GAAP.

- Bookkeeping and bank reconciliation on UK cloud accounting softwares

- Quarterly VAT preparation on MS Excel and UK cloud accounting softwares

- Weekly and monthly payroll run for employees on UK cloud accounting softwares

- Communicate with UK tax authorities and other UK official bodies

- Ad-hoc duties

Requirements:

- Minimum Part-Qualified ACCA or equivalent.

- At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience

- Excellent Computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook

- Experience using MS Excel formulas, pivot tables and data entry

- Good communication skills, including fluency in English speaking and understanding

- Good analytical skills, including drafting letters and reports

- Taking initiative of own workload whilst meeting tight deadlines

- Open and quick to learning new skills and softwares
