| Job Description: |
Job Objective: To monitor the DWDM network and escalation to the concerned FM for the issue rectifications in the NOC and maintain the NMS servers. Job Responsibilities:
- Look after O&M of NOC for DWDM/Metro network.
- Vigilant network monitoring from the NOC in shifts on 24xt basis.
- Reporting and escalation of the network issues to the FM teams and management.
- To supervise the FM team’s activities and provide support during the troubleshooting if applicable.
- Trouble ticket management.
- Analysis and approval of all the planned activities related to the DWDM network.
- To give support to all departments during planned works.
- Generations of the various network reports in daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Service configuration/change in the network upon a request from the concerned department of Warid.
- Co-ordination with other departments/blocks of Warid and vendors for the timely resolutions of the issues.
- Manage tools availability for their use in the NOC.
- To perform the PMR of the NMS servers to ensure the applications and databases in healthy running state.
- Management of the DCN network and troubleshooting the issues related to it.
Key Performance Indicators: Efficient network monitoring and escalation of the issues to the concerned parties for resolution within minimum SLA time in order to keep the network within KPI. |
